The pure white cumulonimbus cloud floating in the blue sky is like the Himalayas of clouds.
The shining peak changes shape every moment as it flows in the wind.
High in the sky, as if mixed with thunderheads,
Cirrus clouds that draw loose lines as if they were swept with a brush,
such as fish scales and scale clouds that look like ripples on the surface of the water,
The clouds heralding autumn appear.

Summer clouds and autumn clouds come and go,
The sky at this time of year is called the 'meeting sky'.

Beautiful words full of Japanese taste, expressing the ephemeral scenery of the sky that can only be seen in this season between the seasons.

Dating means meeting.
Two seasons meet under the same sky, from past summer to coming autumn,
As if entrusting the baton, it goes around quietly.

"Summer and autumn, a cool wind blows on the other side of the empty passageway."
At the end of the summer poem in Kokin Wakashu,
In the sky there is a seasonal path where summer and autumn come and go,
He writes that a cool breeze is already blowing on the road in autumn.
The old people also felt a sense of relief and a little loneliness that the harsh summer had finally passed,
I guess I was looking at the sky at the meeting, thinking about the coming autumn.

When the bright summer sun sets in the west,
The voice of Higurashi swells in the midst of summer and autumn.
